Ah, the infamous heart shapes. There are dozens of them scattered through Avatar, and nearly every one has been seized upon like a favorite chew toy by legions of shipping fans with their eyes glued to the screen for any possible scrap of evidence.
You know, though, when the clearest example of your evidence is produced by a guy who's trying to make his teenaged son's eyeballs sizzle in their sockets? Your argument may have a slight fundamental flaw... *sigh* I don't really get all the obsession with meaningless visual "clues". Swinging your arms just naturally traces a heart shape in the air, and the bent element follows; it's as simple as that, yanno? (Actually, wait, there's a little Avatar Cycle going on in this comic! Green, red, yellow, blue...but if you rearrange the frames chronologically, Water ends up between Fire and Air...dude, what does it all mean?  )Happy Valentine's Day, everybody...whatever floats your ship.  ! |
